The Missionary Gateway Center (MGC) in the Dominican Republic is calling YOU! The MGC is a regional training center, ready to prepare you for missions in the CAC! Join a group of other like minded individuals for 11 weeks of training, starting at the end of May 2025 (other dates available). During these 11 weeks, you’ll receive hands on training, interact with missionaries, take courses to equip and prepare you for missions, take language classes, help with national events, have life changing experiences and more! What Should I Know?
The MGC is a short-term missionary training center helping bridge the gap between Short-Term Missions and Long Term. The MGC offers a 4-step training process.

  1. Hands-on Ministry Experience – We have coordinated ministry opportunities with local churches and experienced missionaries.
  1. Specialized Training – Missionaries from our region and beyond will teach classes that are specific to missionary life and work.
  1. Travel – Visiting nations and participating in the work there will be key to finding the place God is calling you.
  1. Language Study – This will prepare you to be effective in ministry in the nation of your calling

Get Involved!
The MGC falls under the Short-Term Missions Department. Each one of the participants will be under the AIM or AMP program. If you have not filled out your AIM application, that’s a great place to start! You can also follow the link below to receive a copy of the detailed schedule and plan for the upcoming year.
