The Missionary Gateway Center (MGC) in the Dominican Republic is calling YOU! The MGC is a regional training center, ready to prepare you for missions in the CAC! Join a group of other like minded individuals for 11 weeks of training, starting at the end of May 2025 (other dates available). During these 11 weeks, you’ll receive hands on training, interact with missionaries, take courses to equip and prepare you for missions, take language classes, help with national events, have life changing experiences and more! What Should I Know?
The MGC is a short-term missionary training center helping bridge the gap between Short-Term Missions and Long Term. The MGC offers a 4-step training process.

Hands-on Ministry Experience – We have coordinated ministry opportunities with local churches and experienced missionaries.

Specialized Training – Missionaries from our region and beyond will teach classes that are specific to missionary life and work.

Travel – Visiting nations and participating in the work there will be key to finding the place God is calling you.

Language Study – This will prepare you to be effective in ministry in the nation of your calling

The MGC falls under the Short-Term Missions Department. Each one of the participants will be under the AIM or AMP program. The UPCI Fiji is an established work that is currently in a great revival and many new churches need to be built! Fiji is a beautiful English-speaking country in the South Pacific Ocean. Missionaries Troy and Jennette Wickett are looking for a individual, couple or family that is wanting to be immersed in missions, ministry, and ideally has previous construction and construction management experience. There are many construction opportunities with multiple church build plans in the near future. We are looking for someone to help manage these church build projects with procuring supplies and working alongside local and visiting work crews with each church build. There is also a need for many maintenance projects at the UPCI Fiji Headquarters property. The Wicketts are looking forward to hearing from you and are more than welcome to discuss the opportunity and answer any questions you might have.

Papua New Guinea is a revival field. The field is white ready for harvest and we need laborers! A country truly set back in time, if you are after an adventure in missions then Papua New Guinea is the field to be! Known affectionately as “The Land of the Unexpected”, this moniker truly describes this tribal nation set in the far corner of the Pacific. There is never a dull moment and always plenty to do in Papua New Guinea! With over 8 million people and 800 different languages, it is certainly a vast and versatile country. With many people living in very remote regions that are only accessible by foot and with roots still embedded deep into their culture, it makes it a very complicated country to reach. That’s why we need you!! The heart of the people are open, and they are ready to receive the Gospel!

Sister Carter is the first resident missionary in Gabon and is endeavouring to come alongside the church that has been in existence for 20 years and strengthen it, evangelize, plant churches, encourage church growth. AIMers would be encouraged to work and several areas to help the church go forward on so many levels. Therefore, training, translators, teachers, preachers, Children’s ministry, Youth Ministry, etc are all needed and encouraged to join team Gabon!

The representative in Jordan is looking for AIMers! Those applying for this position will be asked to assist in all current endeavors. This includes: Prayer ministry, growing a small church, planting a new church, children’s ministries, Bible school administration, media, and preaching/teaching, to name a few. Please note that an exact job description will be made with the applying AIMer in mind during the application process.

Single female AIMers can live in the church compound or with a local family nearby. Couples & families will rent a separate apartment. AIMers can use either public or rented transportation. Transportation with the representative, for ministry purposes, is available. This listing is for a single female, couple, family or team for a 2-12 month term. The projected arrival date is open.

Language study is a requirement for ministry in Jordan. There are options for private tutoring or university study before you go into the field.
