In 2022, an evangelism initiative was launched to plant new churches in the six remaining large cities in Austria. Starting from Vienna in the east to the western most city of Feldkirch, much work has been done in these target cities – one of which is the city of Linz. God has opened the door for us to now have a small group that meets semi-regularly in a rented church building.

This small group needs help transitioning into an established church. You would be living and working in Linz in tandem with a group that bases out of the nearest UPC church two hours to the east in the city of Vienna.

Jesus said that, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”* Nowhere is that more true than in Sweden.  There are people that we are connected to all over Sweden that we cannot even minister to consistently or effectively because of distance and those who can go.  Jesus followed his statement of this truth with a prayer request.  “Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”** The answer to the dilemma begins with prayer, but it ends with someone being an answer to that prayer.  Could you be that answer today?

In Sweden, we are hungry to see the gospel spread to every major city of this country.  But we need laborers.

• We need laborers to come and pray.
• We need laborers to teach Bible studies.
• We need seasoned teachers to help us train growing leaders.
• We need people to help us grow our social media and online ministry platforms.
• We need helpers to be parts of launch teams in new cities.
• We need baristas who can come and help us set up our new cafe church location.

And we need it NOW.  We need it on an ongoing basis for the coming term beginning summer of 2026.

Language: While the official language is Swedish, most Swedish people are proficient in English (they learn in school from 2nd grade). So there should be no barrier.

Visa requirements:  AIMers can come and work for 90 days without securing a Visa. If you desire a longer term you can apply for a one-year missionary visa.

Living arrangements: AIMers would need to secure a temporary or long-term apartment or accommodation in either Stockholm or Uppsala.

The Gambia is situated on both sides of the Gambia River, the nation’s namesake, which flows through the center of the nation and empties into the Atlantic Ocean. What’s even more beautiful than the nation’s culture, beaches, and wildlife (lots of monkeys) is the Gambian people.

The Gambia has a population of approximately 2.5 million beautiful people representing a variety of ethnic groups, each preserving its own traditions and language however, English is the official language.

Approximately 96% of the Gambian population identify as Muslim. The Gambia desperately needs to hear the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to love people and make disciples. With God’s help (and with your help) we are building people, home groups, preaching points, and training centers. It’s our mission to not only reach The Gambia with this gospel message but that the church of The Gambia can also reach into West Africa and beyond.

WHO?  Pohnpei needs an adventurous married couple or family, or a single man who may or may not have had formal Bible school training, may or may not possess the ability to play a musical instrument, enjoys opportunities to teach home Bible studies, work with children and young people, and preach in churches, parks and homes.

WHERE?  Arriving after a four-hour flight southeast from Guam, Pohnpei is the capital and one of the four Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in the North Pacific subregion also called Micronesia.  Besides Pohnpeian, they also speak English and the U.S. Dollar is the currency.  Like the climate, Micronesians are warm and loving, and serving their youth will be the opportunity of a lifetime.
