The mission of Ladies Ministries is to equip and mobilize Apostolic ladies of the world for service in the kingdom of God; to maintain a spirit of cooperation with the various ministries of the organization; to preserve Apostolic doctrine; and to maintain and transmit the heritage of the past to the present and future generations through teaching and by example.

The UPC of Switzerland has a multicultural and multigenerational community of women who are passionate about the kingdom of God. AIMers would assist the UPC-Switzerland Ladies Ministry in organizing (online and in-person) national prayer meetings, Bible studies, and small groups to cultivate a bond of faith-filled women. Organization, attention to detail, and effective communication would be key skills in this role. AIMers will assist in developing promotional material for Ladies’ Ministry (for social media and other areas), so experience is preferred. Other ministry opportunities may be available depending on present needs such as teaching, outreach, etc. Most of the ladies speak English, however, language study is highly encouraged as the national languages are not English (French, Spanish, Italian, or German).

Switzerland is one of the most advanced and among the highest-ranking educational systems in the world. Switzerland is known for its scientific innovation, research and development in multiple industries, and so much more. Students come from all over the world to study in Switzerland which means Hyphen Ministry can impact the world globally. If you are currently pursuing higher education, consider studying abroad. A student or work visa is required for terms longer than 3 months.

Do you passion for Hyphen and Campus Ministry? Switzerland needs a ministry team to help facilitate CMI programs in a multicultural setting. Many Hyphen in Switzerland speak English, but language study is essential to effective teaching and immersion into Swiss Culture. Presently, if you fluently, or if you are learning, to speak French, German, Italian, Romansh, Arabic, and/or Spanish you could be a blessing to the Swiss church. AIMers would work alongside the Swiss Missions team, local pastors, and the UPC of Switzerland to facilitate Hyphen classes, local and regional events, and attend Hyphen-related conferences such as Euro Youth Conference, Because of The Times Europe, and Swiss National Conference, and more.

Many of the youth in Switzerland speak minimal English, so language study is a requirement to teach the youth in Switzerland the Gospel. Presently, if you are fluent, or if you are learning to speak French, German, Italian, Romansh, Arabic, and/or Spanish you could be a blessing to the Swiss church. AIMers would work alongside the Swiss Missions team, local pastors, and the UPC of Switzerland to facilitate youth classes, local and regional youth events, and attend youth-related conferences such as youth camps, the Swiss National Conference, Euro Youth Conference, and more.

We are looking to add members to our missions team who are passionate about studying the Word of God and have cross-ministry talents. Bible Quizzing is a great method of teaching children and youth to hide the Word of God in their hearts and how to live a Christian lifestyle. The Bible Quizzing program is not new to Switzerland, but it has recently been revamped! If you have a passion for BQ, then consider joining our team. AIMers will help implement a BQ program in churches, coach/host quizzing practices and tournaments (online and in-person), create, order, and translate study materials and much more. Opportunities don’t stop there! AIMers will also assist in Bible studies, prayer walks, and teaching classes as needed.

There is nothing better than full immersion into a culture to practice your language skills, but not everyone has the means and opportunity to go. However, thanks to many technological advancements, we are looking for virtual AIMers to assist our team in translation.

Do you speak multiple languages? Do you have a desire to assist missionaries and practice your written and spoken language skills? In Switzerland, there are four national languages and numerous immigrant languages. You can use your love for language to help our team with communication in various ways.

Switzerland is a multicultural melting pot of nearly 9 million souls located in the heart of Europe. With four official languages (German, French, Italian, and Romansh) spread among 26 cantons, the opportunities to share the Gospel are endless. Switzerland is known for its cheeses, chocolate making, and of course the Swiss Alps, but it is soon to be known for the Great Revival that is taking place!

God has given us the keys to walk through open doors set before us in this nation, and we are looking for AIMers who are willing to step out by faith to do what they have never done before. Currently, we have 3 established churches (located in Geneva, Bern, and Lugano) and we are looking to expand our team to reach the uttermost parts of Switzerland.

Are you passionate about finding open doors in new cities? Do you feel called to reach villages, ethnic, and linguistic groups for the first time? Do you feel called to evangelize? Then this is your field.

There are opportunities to be involved in Bible studies, personal evangelism, leading worship nights, prayer walks, and so much more. This field is ripe for the harvest and in need of laborers.

Tentative Budget

$2,700/month per adult + $500 for local/national conferences – not including airfare
