Hi! My name is Sharon! I felt a call to missions on my first AYC trip to Madagascar. The next summer I applied to the Next Steps: Mediterranean program which has taught me so much! Being on Next Steps made me realize how important it is to share with others the opportunities they have with Short-Term Missions and how they can have an impact on people in every nation.

My Name is Brooklyn. I have had a love for missions since I was a little girl. I went on my first AYC trip to Namibia in 2022 and then I went on Next Steps this year (2025). I work at a Veterinary office and I love to travel.

Hello, I’m Avery! I received my call to missions six years ago and have fallen in love with every aspect of it. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to go on two AYC trips, Next Steps: Mediterranian, and I have plans to pursue AIM.

STM Programs have completely changed my life and when the opportunity came about to be an ambassador, I jumped at the chance! I hope to use this ambassadorship to spread the word about STM and get more laborers on the field!

I received my call to missions at NAYC 2019. In 2022 I went on my first mission trip to Brazil, and after that, I participated in the Next Steps program. Through the Short-Term Missions program, I have been able to pursue the call of God in my life. I have seen God do wonderful and amazing things in different countries. Missions is a beautifully humbling experience that I believe everyone could benefit from. I am so excited to help others connect with what could be a lifetime of ministry in missions.

Revelation 7:9 says, “After this I beheld, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”

Every kind of people will be around the throne of God. Today we still have unreached people groups, and we still have lost people in every people group. As long as there are people who have not heard there will be a need to spread the Gospel.
